Nestled in the heart of the city, Saffron & Sage is more than just a restaurant — it's a culinary journey through the diverse landscapes of India. Founded in 1997 by Chef Arjun Malhotra, our kitchen has been a beacon of authentic Indian cuisine for nearly three decades.
We source our spices directly from farms across Rajasthan, Kerala, and Kashmir. Our hand-ground masala blends are prepared fresh daily, following recipes passed down through five generations. Every dish we serve carries the warmth of tradition and the spark of modern innovation.
From the smoky depths of our clay tandoor to the delicate art of our dum biryani, each plate is a masterpiece of patience, passion, and precision.

Chef Arjun Malhotra
Executive Chef & Founder
With over 30 years of experience spanning Michelin-starred kitchens in London, Dubai, and Delhi, Chef Arjun brings a rare combination of classical training and deep-rooted respect for Indian culinary traditions.
His philosophy is simple: "Let the ingredients speak. The best spices don't shout — they sing."
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a protégé of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Arjun returned to India to create a dining experience that honours his grandmother's recipes while pushing the boundaries of modern Indian cuisine.
